Marilyn was raised in upstate NY and has resided in Charlotte, NC since 1983. After a two year business assignment in Boston, MA, she moved back to Charlotte in 1995 where she met her husband, who was also ending a two year business assignment, only for him, it was in Hong Kong. Eric is the perfect yin to her yang. Eric is the VP - Strategic Business Development for a holding company, which raises capital for and manages a portfolio of fitness related manufacturing, sourcing and internet marketing companies. This is Eric’s dream job.

They are devoted parents to a daughter, Sydney, who they adopted as an infant from China in 2000. The Carpenter’s are about God, Family, Health, Friends, and Work – in that order. They are blessed with a strong faith-walk, wonderful family and friends, and a dedication to prosperous health and work.
